Aastha Verti - Verticillium Lecanii is an entomopathogenic fungus which occur naturally and invade the soft bodied pest insects such as aphids, whiteflies, thrips by germinating the fungal spores on contact that lead to create penetrated holes in the cuticle of the pest results in death caused by toxins extraction and nutrient depletion. It is a biodegradable bio-pesticide that can be potent and strong enough to replace chemical insecticides in providing killing pest risks without harming other harmless creatures.
📌 Mode of Action:
• Fungal Infection - Spores attach themselves to the insect body cuticle that later germinates and opens them up through their cuticule.
• Releasing Toxins - Fuses the insect with the fungi that release toxins, and due to the pest's body nutrient drop, it kills.
